I believe in expanded consciousness and that beauty cannot be restricted to a single idea of truth, nor should it captured in a universal model of a hot-pink, exclusively feminine and material Barbie world. Beauty is broad and dynamic, expanding itself constantly, and it's everywhere - in the energy of bodies, souls and spirits, in living nature, in unusual creations of the mind, in the true expressions of the heart. / Acredito em expansão de consciência e portanto que a beleza não se restringe a uma única verdade, nem a um modelo universal exclusivamente feminino e cor-de-rosa da Barbie, aprisionado na matéria. A beleza é ampla, dinâmica e se expande constantemente, e está em tudo - na energia de corpos, almas e espíritos, na natureza viva, em inusitadas criações da mente, na expressão verdadeira do coração.

As someone who studies theories within the field of humanities I think it is important - and actually fundamental - to defy definitions and to search for the expansion of concepts, especially the concepts of politics, democracy and more recently, of the idea of beauty. In this blog we will ask specialists about their perspectives of what is beautiful in the fields of art, academic areas, health, nature, spirituality and many other spaces, since beauty indeed has no limits. We will soon publish interviews with professionals and knowledgeable individuals in their specific areas of interest about the "ever expanding" nature of Beauty. / Como estudiosa de teorias dentro das humanidades acho importante e fundamental o desafio a definições e a busca pela expansão de conceitos. Meu interesse é especialmente pela expansão dos conceitos de política, democracia e atualmente, da ideia de beleza. Indagaremos nesse blog perspectivas do que é belo segundo especialistas da arte, da academia, da saúde, da natureza, da espiritualidade e de várias outras áreas, pois a beleza realmente não tem limites.
